FOOTWEAR

NEW PRETTY FLAT SANDALS (OF COURSE THEY ARE!;))

I have been visiting my favourite designer shop in town trying my luck on new yellow Christian Dior shoes but to my frustration, I don't think I'll ever get hold of them. There's only one pair left in the country in that colour and in my size. They've got them in size 39 (I wear size 37, darn!) and they've been trying to swap them between shops but they seem to hang on to them like they're hanging on to their dear lives. How frustrating is that? My point is, why can't they let me buy it from my shop by them sending it to the one near me. After all, it's still the money would still go to the same company. I love challenges but this is beyond joke. Now, I'm moaning. The other day, I phoned their outlet in Liverpool and they've confirmed that they've got them (can it be anymore annoying than that? I thought to myself). I asked them if I could buy them over the phone but they told me I can't. I came to the point that I felt desperate (or sad?) to get hold of them that I consider jumping on a train just to get those shoes from Liverpool. They told me that they could hold them for me until this Sunday (Mother's day here in the UK). That would be just selfish of me, won't it, when I should be spending it with my son instead of dragging him across the country so I can fetch my bloody shoes (now, I'm sounding really wound up hahahaha!). I know what my bf would say... 'bloody, bloody shoes!' hahahahaha!

Anyway, as the shop was having a 2 day sale, I thought I might as well have a look and guess what? I found this... pair!

My 3rd pair of Miu Miu footwear

They're gorgeous and you must agree with me ;) (of course you don't have to hahahaha!)

My bf hates these pair but I just ignored him... he was cringing as I tried them on like they were the most disgusting things he's ever seen. Well, they're not my usual stilettos but they're gorgeous and comfortable to wear. I love them and will be wearing them over summer whether he likes it or not. After all, it's my feet and back that are at stake. As much as I love wearing my stilettos, I'm coming to the point where I've to look after my own health as well. I still love my stilettos but for walking around town, I find this pair perfect.

I'm still not giving up on the pair of Dior that I wanted though and I'm still hoping that they're able to get them for me. They told me that they would and I hope they deliver.

SHOES: YVES SAINT LAURENT

>>> SHOE LADY IS BACK!!!>>>

Hello guys! Sorry for being quiet for a while... You must have been bored checking my blog without any exciting update. Well, dearies, what can I tell you? I've been so busy at work and I've not been very well this past 2 weeks. Monday last week, I came down with a horrible flu and I could never thank my boyfriend enough who has taken off work for 3 days to look after me and my son. Honey, loadsa thanks :) Your kindness will never be forgotten :)

Anyway, as Christmas season is fast appoaching and of course, we can let it slip away without celebrating it :). During the past 2 years, my boyfriend has been taking me to Freemason Christmas dinner, which of course we enjoy a lot :)... and of course for moi... it's a valid excuse to got out and find nice things to wear for the occasion. So, here I am, busy trying to put an outfit together for the night and as you probably know me... I start with the shoes... Well, I don't always start with the shoes but with anything that would grab my attention. It just happened that when I visited my favourite designer shop, they have just launched the new stuff for the season and these pair of Yves Saint Laurent shoes grabbed my atttention and decided that they were the ones I'd love to wear during the night.

So guys... browse away :)

They look bright red in this photo but they're not.

They were originally £350 but I used my £50 voucher to pay towards them so at the end, they only cost me £300... cool eh! Good thing about Flannels, is that for £1,000 you spend in the shop, you'll get rewarded a £50 voucher... How cool is that?

Actual colour

Certified killer heels indeed!

New pair of shoes means a visit to Vivienne Westwood boutique ;)

Closest match that I could find

There's my massive bag I bought (2 months ago?)

My Vivienne Westwood bags and purses collection (so far ;))

My Vivienne Westwood bags and purses collection alongside a few pairs of designer shoes (3 pairs Gucci, 2 pairs MiuMiu, 1 pair Prada, 1 pair Yves Saint Laurent. Where does it end? Well, I'd love a pair of Manolos and Louboutin... and another designer bag during our trip to London next week and that would wrap my 2008 up ;)) I'd post photos of my whole shoe and bag collection... promise... soon :)

My pretty little things before jumping back into their boxes ;)
Dust bags are sooo useful in taking care of nice things :)
You must be wondering... where's the dress? Well, I'd love a long black dress for the occasion but I'm struggling at the moment. I hit the shops and boutiques this afternoon and tried a few. One of them drowned me (it was extremely long... geez!), the other one didn't fit me... I found a lovely dress on the website but it wasn't out on the shops yet... and finally another one I've ordered online because they didn't have my size in the shop (the last one got snatched before I got there). At the moment, I'm still waiting to hear from them to find out whether they have it or not. Otherwise, I'll try my luck in London next week and I hope I'll find one eventually (well, before the party would be helpful). Gosh! I never thought finding the right dress would be this hard... Hmmm.... Wish me luck guys :)
TTFN!!!

New Designer Shoes... Who doesn't want a pair?

I've decided few weeks ago that I wasn't going to buy designer shoes until end of this year but when I found out that these were the last pair in the shop (of my size), I had to get them (well, I lied... my boyfriend did... lucky girl, I know!). Everytime I went in that shop (Flannels), I've always tried these on so the SA and my boyfriend knew that I really wanted them. Today, I came home very very happy with them. Would they be my anniversary present? Would've been generous present :)

Alright... gorgeous pairs of shoes (sandals)... what was the catch? A whooping £350 GBP ($681.530 USD/30,258 PHP). Do I deserve them? Of course! I'm a good girl, I am! :P

Shoes do love camwhoring too :P

Very very Sex And The City indeed! Thank you honey!

Tired feet...

What do you think girls?

Bring it on!

Shopaholic on the loose!

This is another late post as I've been pretty busy with trying to sort out my place. As mentioned in my previous post, I'm so excited to show you guys my new stuff... So here they are as promised.

My new Miu Miu Shoes! YAY!

I've actually worn these last Sunday on my friend's daughter's Christening and the heels remained intact (Untouched! Didn't even look like they've been worn). It was a fabulous day!

After the Christening, I've managed to drag my son and my boyfriend to House of Fraser and picked up this lot. I love Vivienne Westwood scents and the gift with my purchase... just wonderful! My 50ml Boudior Sin Garden Eau de Parfum came with the scarf, Let it Rock Moisturising Body Lotion (75ml), Anglomania Shower Gel (50ml) and a miniature Boudior Eau de Parfum (5ml)

Love the packaging!... and the scarf is goergeous!
I'm so glad I went to pick up this lot last Sunday afternoon as they were the last gifts. I was amazed that this offer only came out last Saturday but because we got their late (closing time), I wasn't able to get them. So, girls...! If you ever come across Vivienne Westwood offer and feel wanting it... grab it to avoid disappointment! I saw a girls who has been so upset that she's missed it... she didn't even try to hide her disappointment. She demanded that the staff checked their stock just to make she just hasn't missed it. When it was confirmed that everything was gone, she then demanded that the promotional poster was removed. So..., as what I've said... just grab it!

My ever growing perfume collection

I've never tried Body Shop cosmetics but few of my friends are using them and they're quite happy about the product so I thought, I'll give it a go.

Retractable brush... My fourth one. I find them useful and handy to carry around.

Slanted Brush

Blending brush
The brushes are actually nice and I'm planning to get some more soon.

After I've bought my new Miu Miu shoes, I popped in Ted Baker and got this gorgeous belt.

Christening Photos

I've taken a few photos this morning during my friends' daughter's Christening... Sad to say, we haven't managed to take good ones as people kept passing through even though they knew that others were trying to take some pictures. How considerate is that? I know they're not such of great quality but I've posted them anyway :P

Anyway... the Christening was lovely but I think my friend and I got the priest confused on who the mother of the baby was ha ha ha! We thought that the ceremony was over and since the baby was wanting to come to me, I took her from her mum until the priest came to anoint her and then again we thought that it was the last one but he came back to do something else so we were like giggling. To stop confusing the priest and everyone else in the church, I gave the baby back to her mum. I thought that was funny!

Despite of the little confusion in the church, the ceremony was really nice and the reception was held at the Big Wok chinese Restaurant where we enjoyed a rather sumptuous buffet. I had a large glass of white wine (No, I'm not becoming an alcoholic... just fancied one :P)

This was the baby bangle I give the baby as a present and I'm so glad it fitted her perfectly. It was a 9ct gold (I looked for 18ct one but no luck. My first choice was an 18ct white gold but for some reasons, I didn't find any. They don't seem to bother much about babies' jewellery) and came with a musical jewellery box... really cute!

Me and my little Sam.

Yay! I wore the new Miu miu shoes I bought yesterday! I wasn't thinking of buying a new pair of shoes yesterday, let alone designer ones (must have been the 2 glasses of rose wine I had with my steak sandwich in the pub that made me do it) but when I saw and tried this pair... I just knew I had to have them! They cost me £250 (around $489 USD/21,000 PHP) so I thought it wasn't too bad unlike my Gucci ones, which cost me £310. I still want a pair of Prada shoes though before end of this year.

It was a chilly day so I had to put my cardigan on otherwise, the dress was quite stunning. My boyfriend has been nagging at me about wearing stockings so I didn't just to keep him quiet. I hate my legs!

Sorry, I didn't get chance to take close up photos so I thought, I'd crop the previous one :)

My boyfriend and I. I've been wanting him to get a haircut but he never listen. Men!

That's all from me... for now anyway... I've got a few more stuff to post but I'm just feeling so knackered now. Promise I will soon.

TTFN!
