BITS AND BOBS SHOPPING

>>> MORE HAULING!!! >>>

I've been having problems with hard skin on my feet... Sorry guys, I'm talking about feet again
:(...

Anyway, when I'm on my feet for as long as 12 and hours, 3 days a week, I really have to start looking after them specially when I'm into sexy stilettos when going out *wink wink!!! *nudge nudge!!!... it's just right that I give them a little TLC every now and so decided to take the Boots shopping event an opportunity to grab what I thought were necessities :D

Don't you think Posh looks fab in her new hair style? This is something I'll never do with my crowning glory. I do hide from my hair ha ha ha!

When I got home, I found these in my shopping bag... I didn't realize that the shop assitant popped this in with my shopping... Fab!!!

Just a back up Jemma Kidd eyelash curlers!

Tried this eventually and it's quite thick so I'm not sure I like it :(... expensive too! £9 for this little bottle

~~~oOo~~~
Just needed new nippers... Would you believe that? I have to keep a few as I only get the chance to have them sharpened when I visit the Philippines. I always pop in at the Hortaleza to have them done. The last time my nippers were sharpened was December 2005... Exactly!!!
SALE: FASHION & BEAUTY
>>>30 DAYS OF FASHION AND BEAUTY EVENT >>>
~~~oOo~~~
Boots is currently on their '30 days od fashion and beauty' sale promo so I thought I might as well take advantage of this opportunity to grab a few things. This promotion offers 3 for 2 on almost all of the beauty and fashion products and honestly, it was so tempting to come out with a lot more goodies but I've tried to hang on to my pennies for our London Trip in November ;)

~~~oOo~~~
The magazine comes free with every purchase at Boots using the advantage card. I needed a headband as my other one broke :( and I thought as they were on 3 for 2 offer, might as well get a few. I also took this opportunity to grab 3 pieces of lovely Bourjois make up. How did I feel after shopping? Not too guilty as I knew that I saved quite a lot plus earned a few £s worth of advantage points ;)
FOTD: Jemma Kidd Make Up School Eye Wardrobe
Since I bought my Jemma Kidd Make Up School stuff... I've been wanting to try the Eye Wardrobe Plum Quartet but as you all know, I've been spending my last 2 months shopping for stuff that I barely had time to try them on. I've tried this eyeshadow yesterday and my boyfriend liked it so I thought, I'd do it again and take FOTDs.
I know, I know... I tend to post too many photos everytime but I just can't help it. I just couldn't decide which ones to post... and hey...! I think I'm getting good at taking photos... Have a look to find out if you could see the improvement I think I had :)
Face:
  • Olay Definity Intense Repairing Anti-Ageing Serum and Sheercover Nourishing Moisturiser with SPF15 (I mix the two product together to get the benefit of anti-ageing and SPF15 formula)
  • Christian Dior R-Flash Instant Ultra-Smoothing Fluid used as primer
  • Sheercover Mineral Foundation with SPF15
  • Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat under my eye area and side of my nose
Eyes:
  • Yves Saint Laurent Lisse Expert Advanced Eye and Lip Intensive Anti-Wrinkle Care
  • Elizabeth Arden Eye-Fix Primer
  • Jemma Kidd Make Up School Eye Wardrobe Plum Quartet
  • Shiseido The Make Up Accentuating Cream Eye Liner (Top lashlines and corner of bottom lash lines)
  • Lancome Virtouse Mascara (On top lashes)
  • Clinique High Impact Mascara (On bottom lashes)
Cheeks:
  • Yves Saint Laurent Blush Variation in Rose Cendre/Ash Pink (9)
Lips:
  • E.L.F. Feather Proof - Moisturising Lipliner in Bitter
  • E.L.F. Custom Lips in Sugar Plum
(I had to cover the lipliner by the lipstick as it was too red but turned out fine)
I'm still trying to apply me cream eye liner right... as you can see... it looks a mess at the moment. Any tips guys?
Phew! It took me over 3 hours to get ready today... I'm just glad I didn't have to rush. I've been watching Panacea on youtube (Not sure I've got it right) doing great EMU tutorial for 10 minutes and I wonder how she does it!
TTFN!
FOTD: Revlon Quad Eye Shadow
I didn't particularly feel like trying new things today so I've decided to do my usual make up (neutral). This is like my everyday make up and because I've been doing it this way for many years, I find it easier to get ready early in the morning. I find using darker colours easy to do as even when you make mistakes, they're not that difficult to correct. However, when I'm not in the mood (or feeling under the weather), my blending skills seem to go down the drain and I end up with panda eyes instead of smokey eyes ha ha ha!
Having clear eyes does make the difference. My secret? Optrex for dry eyes but my ophthalmologist told me that any lubricating eye drops will do the job. I can't use ordinary eye drops because I've got dry eyes and when I don't use one, my eyes tend to feel gritty by mid morning as well as horrible redness.
Sorry about this one guys... it's badly blurred out, isn't it?
