SPRING MAKE UP AND ATTEMPT TO CREATE A SPRING LOOK

GOODBYE WINTER BLUES HELLO COLOURFUL SPRING!!!

I'm already getting feed up of cold winter and I can't wait for it to get warmer soon. In the past 2 weeks that I've been on my annual leave, I've never even been bothered much about putting my usual make up. I've been goind out wearing foundation, powder, eyebrows (I just draw them ;)) and a pale lipgloss. I haven't been bothering myself much about eye colours and blushers and I guess it's because it's always miserable outside.

So...! Since my bf has invited me (or was it me who invited myself?) to join him for lunch today, I thought I'd make an effort to do something a little cheerful and came up with ideas of wearing spring colours. This season, green, orange, yellow and purple are in so I thought, I'll have a go at it.

Below are a few items of make up I bought last week.

Benefit Concealer... Lyin' Eyes. I'm happy with the coverage it gives me and it's dead easy to control when using it.

Revlon Spring Eyeshadows. Make A Sheen

Pretty Colours

My attempt to create a spring look using Revlon Make a Sheen eyeshadow in Espresso (Like express yourself), Elleana Lipgloss (from Shen), top from Oasis (sale) and waistcoat from Karen Millen (sale). Hit or miss? You'll be the judge

WARNING: FROM THIS POINT IS PURE CAMWHORING ;)

I barely wore eye make up in the past 2 week and it felt weird doing it again. I've only managed a 3 and a half hour sleep (I chatted to sis Nikki until 1.30am and woke up at 5 to get ready to take my son to school and guess what?... I chatted to sis Nikki again when I woke up ha ha ha!) so I looked really really tired but I think my new Benefit concealer helped.
Oh! I've had my hair done as well hence the dark side of me ha ha ha! My hair colour this time is darker than my natural but never mind, it'll soon fade ha ha ha!

My Fashionista Side

Well, I do love UK high street fashion and I thought I'd share my style in this page. Are you ready folks? Here they are...! They are arranged from my recent ones.

Taken during my graduation ball. I've opted for a long black dress from Monsoon (cost me [GBP]£80/around [USD]$157 /6,546 PHP on current rate). I did my own make up using my favourite Clinique make up and hair by my ever reliable hairstylist (cost me [GBP]£105/around [USD]$208/8,615 PHP, that included full head highlights, cut and styling [curled using GHD hair straightener])

This was taken last December during a Freemason Christmas dinner. I wore Monsoon dress (cost me GBP £135/around USD $265/11,076 PHP), I did my own make up (Clinique again) and hair by Haircraft (cost me GBP £35/around USD $68/2,871 PHP)

This photo was taken summer last year on friend's Christening. I was wearing Monsoon dress (cost me GBP £135/around USD $265/11,076 PHP). I did my own hair and make up.

Marks & Spencer's top and Jane Norman jeans. Shoes by Dune
Top by Topshop, skinny jeans by Topshop's Kate Moss collection, Boots by Dou Boots (cost me GBP £165/around USD $324/13,538 PHP)

Me and my son (Isn't he cute?). I wasn't wearing much make up here because I suddenly had allergy with any eye make up. Don't know what happened then... just Superfit foundation in neutral, Double matte press powder in matte ivory, mascara all by Clinique and YSL lipgloss
Top by Oasis, canvass trousers by Topshop, mules by Barrats, bag by Next and other accesories by Dorothy Perkins
Taken December 2006 before heading to a Freemason Christmas dinner. Dress by Debut of Debenhams. Shoes with matching bags by Dolcis. I was trying to pull off a Gothic look here hence the crucifix necklace with matching earings.
