MAC HELLO KITTY: FRESH BREW LIPSTICK, IT'S NICE TO BE NICE LIPGLOSS AND NARS REVISITED

When I got my Hello Kitty make up collection, I thought of posting swatches of the lippies but i thought FOTDs would be better idea.

However, whilst I was sitting infront my dressing table, and looking at my make up train case, I couldn't decide which palette to wear then I spotted my NARS make from last year and since it's been a while since the last time I wore them, I thought I'd give it a go and I did.

So, here it is! ;) I think I got a little too heavy with my hands that my blending skills have been compromised hahahaha!

As you all know... I don't leave my place without a slap on and this was I came up with thins morning. It was quite a rush as I got up 15 minutes late ha ha ha! Every minute is precious to me as you know :)

Unfortunately, I cannot use my camera without flash as I get terrible pictures. However, I think I got around it by zooming in this time. The photos still didn't come out perfect as they looked a bit dark but I think, they're better than my previous ones. At least this time, you'll be able to see the colours I've used.

As you can see, I've got scar on my browbone from chicken pox... Oh that dreadful thing! It was a nightmare! Just thinking about it makes me itch ha ha ha!

This was quite easy to do as I only used 3 colours.

In this EMU, I used the following:

Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat around my eyes

NARS Dou Eye Shadow in Alhambra (The paler one) on browbone

MAC Eye Palette in Goldmine (A76) on the inner lid (halfway-ish)

MAC Eye Palette in Humid (A87) on the outer lid (blended in with the Goldmine)

Sheer Cover Cream Eye liner in Black on the lash line

Again, Goldmine on the inner bottom lash line

Again, Humid on the outer bottom lash line

Clarins Waterproof Eye Pencil in Black on my waterline

Lancome Virtouse Mascara in Black on top lash

Clinique High Impact Mascara in Black on bottom lash

I've just started to get into the English summer mood when the weather forecast ruined it for me waaaaahhhh!


Anyway, I'm still not giving up on my summer make up so I had another go at my green palettes. I really have to be brave enough to get out of my comfort zone. I still can't face the idea of trying a much brighter shade of green and that would be my goal for next week. This is what I came up with... it's not there yet but I'm sure there is always a room for improvement!

Sheer Cover Cream Eye Liner in Black on my top lash lines

I'm rubish with taking close up photo of my eyes. The colour always get washed out by the flash... grrr...!

Since I bought my new NARS make up last Sunday, I've been dying to to try them on. Has my excitement paid off? You guys can tell :)

This photo was taken after my morning shopping around 11.00 am (that makes 3 hours after I've applied my make up). I can't be bothered to retouch but tried my new Givenchy lipstick.

It's dark green... honest! The purple shade I slightly blended in on the creases change the hue completely :(
