I usually hate technology... well not the technology itself but the complications of operating them... that's why everytime I buy any appliances, I always make sure that they are idiot proof ha ha ha! I guess I'm too old to be learning new things all the time. However, since I've been wanting to get a new laptop for a while because my old pc has been giving me problems, I thought, 2009 would be the best time to do it because of January sale here in the UK. Although I only got £50 discount (Originally priced at £999 but walked out with it for £949 with a free case to go with it... of course, red one well ;))... £50 is £50, isn't it? Better than nothing at all :)
Anyway, when I came home, I read the manual that came with it then switched it on... whoa! It wasn't as complicated as I thought it was going to be and after over an hour... it was up and running. Although I had to sort out my internet connection and my service provider has been kind and patient enough to go through with me on how to hook it up. After around 20 minutes... Viola! I carried on with the installation of my anti-virus. Even got a discount off my anti-virus so that was a great shopping trip. For a change I felt that my money was well spent ;)
I'm still trying to explore this new machine and I'm getting there. I've still got my old pc and will eventually get rid of it soon as I've sorted out the other programmes and gadgets that I'll need and want for this one.
