FOTD, FOOD... MORE MAKE UP!

I've been practicing a subtle eye make up and bright red lipstick (Port Red by MAC) for my friend's wedding in June since I'm wanting to wear my little black dress, Gucci shoes and Vivienne Westwood evening bag. Since my highlights are due for top up in June (I fancy more colour this time... lighter than what I've already got), I've decided to have it done and put it up on French twist... I've no idea what to do, if I'm being honest. So, if you've got anything in mind... I'd love to hear from you.

In this photo, I wore the following (I'll edit this post for specification soon):

Elizabeth Arden Primer

MAC concealer

Almost Powder in Neutral by Clinique

Silky Eye Shadow Quad in Earth and Sky by Shiseido

Sheer Cover Cream Eyeliner in black

Virtouse Mascara in black by Lancome (Top eye lashes)

Clinique Mascara (Bottom eye lashes)
Yves Saint Laurent blusher on cheek

Port Red Lipstick by MAC

Yay! Looks messy!

After I've done my make up, I felt miserable with the thought of staying in when it was warm and sunny outside so I asked my boyfriend if he didn't mind us eating out. We ended up in YO! Sushi Japanese restaurant and I couldn't help myself on the conveyor belt where various plates of food constantly ran passed us whilst we ate. I ended up helping myself on 3 portions of sushis off the belt and noddles from the menu. I could only manage about 3 refills of green tea through out the meal ha ha ha! Believe me! I felt extremely full after the meal!

My first portion of sushi... Absolutely gorgeous! I got into eating that I forgot to take photo of my second portion ha ha ha!

Chicken Yakisoba! Yummmm!

My third portion after my main (Couldn't help it!) Crunchy prawn and avocado ISO!

After that lovely meal we nipped in Space.NK Apothecary shop and ended up shopping for make up! Could've have been my dessert ha ha ha! At least, theses babies won't make me gain weight ha ha ha!

NARS make up, Laura Mercier Lip Glace and Stila Lip Glaze. They had very small choices on Stila make up because they're currently repackaging and will be launching new range (as I was told).

My purchases plus samples

My free samples! Yep! They were quite generous!

The shop assistant gave me this samples for my boyfriend as well (Body, facial and eye creams). I'm still trying to convince him into using them. I've even taught him how to apply them but he doesn't seem to be interested :(

I love the packaging. Simple yet elegant

Wishing upon the stars

Waaaa............!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love these too!!! ... but they're sooooo expensive! Well.... I can dream, can't I?

Please click on the picture to enlarge but be warned as they really are gooooooorgeous!

Another happy day for moi!

I didn't expect to hear from Flannels until Wednesday next week but this afternoon, I got a phone call about a pair of Gucci shoes that I have ordered. I could barely wait to get hold of them but I had to pick my son up from school first. When I saw those pair of shoes, I also had a Vivienne Westwood bag in my mind to match them but the shop assistant has been mean and showed me a purse to go with.

My unplanned haul for today

My most awaited Gucci shoes... here at last!

Absolutely stunning!

Gorgeous or just gorgeous!

Look at that!

Certified killer heels indeed! Okay, they cost me £310 ($606 USD or 25,787 PHP... Oh! I didn't realize it was that much... never mind...)

My other surprises!

Ta...dah! Evening bag with matching purse!

Absolutely perfect to match my Guccii shoes! Evening bag was £125 ($244 or 10,401 PHP) and the purse was £70 ($136 USD or 5,824 PHP)

They would make a great outfit, won't they?

Of course... MAC lippy and lipliner

MAC lippy in port red and MAC cherry lipliner (I'd like to have a go at naughty nautical make up one day)

FOTD: Revlon Quad Eye Shadow

I didn't particularly feel like trying new things today so I've decided to do my usual make up (neutral). This is like my everyday make up and because I've been doing it this way for many years, I find it easier to get ready early in the morning. I find using darker colours easy to do as even when you make mistakes, they're not that difficult to correct. However, when I'm not in the mood (or feeling under the weather), my blending skills seem to go down the drain and I end up with panda eyes instead of smokey eyes ha ha ha!

Having clear eyes does make the difference. My secret? Optrex for dry eyes but my ophthalmologist told me that any lubricating eye drops will do the job. I can't use ordinary eye drops because I've got dry eyes and when I don't use one, my eyes tend to feel gritty by mid morning as well as horrible redness.

Sorry about this one guys... it's badly blurred out, isn't it?

New Cartier Perfume (Gorgeous!)

I've got my Cartier perfume sample last week on post and tried them on until today. I liked it straight away the first time I tried it and last really long. I've tested it on my wrest and I was amazed how the scent lasted even after many hand washes. So, today, I've decided to get one and it was great as it came with miniature perfume as well plus three other samples of different perfumes. After that, I went to have a look at nails counter and got some summer shades of nail polishes. Love them!

Really gorgeous packaging! Not bad for £69 ($134 USD or 5,758 PHP) for 100ml eau de parfum plus the gifts

The new addition to my other addiction. I used to get really really mad with collecting perfumes until I got pregnant with my son over 10 years ago. I just couldn't stand them (not even fabric conditioners... they made me very very nauseous!). Hmmm... my Coco Chanel is running really low so I think I know what to get next Christmas :)

Gorgeous nail polish indeed by Nails inc. (check http://www.nailsinc.com/ for gorgeous colours) and oh yeah! A lipgloss too! This lot cost me just over £33 ($64 USD and 2,159 PHP)

Just a quick shopping trip

Just another day for me after dropping my little one at school so I ended up shopping and came put with these goodies. I've got to be careful with my shopping habit now as my savings is running low. I suppose, when I eventually get a job, I won't have much time to shop so in a way, I'm just compensating from the shopping days I'm about to lose... so... there you go!

I thought, I'd try these Clinique mineral compact make up. They're SPF 15 as well so they'll be great for summer. The shop assistant also gave me a sample lipgloss, which are fab!

Never used QVS stuff but since they were cheap enough, I thought, I might as well give them a try

Blusher brush

Foundation brush (turned out to be quite nice)

Retractable blush blusher, which is great for my on the go make up bag

More GOSH brushes (They're absolutely fabulous!) and I thought, I'd try the blusher as well and a couple of eyeliners (They really are nice)

More L'Occitane pampering potions with samples

I just love the way they box them

L'Occitane luxurious bath foam

L'Occitane hand bar soap with matching soap dish

Pampering moment

When I feel so tired and stressed out at the end of the day, I tend to indulge myself on a nice warm bubble bath with a scented candle, classical music on my Ipod, a glass of my favourite wine, a book and all the pampering bathing potions that I could find in my bathroom (It's not a lot at the moment as I've just decluttered).

I don't know why I'm doing this but I'm posting it anyway. As you will see, my bath is not that exciting but it'll do for now. I've already mentioned to my boyfriend that when we've got out place together, I want a jacuzzi (corner tub if the bathroom is big enough) and so far he hasn't dismissed nor agreed with the idea so I'm keeping my fingers crossed ;)

I've got such a small bathroom that I can only put so much of my pampering stuff. I have 7 pairs of shampoo and conditioner but can only put 3 pairs at a time. I tend to use them on alternate bases otherwise they seem to stop working after a while and could make my hair greasy as well.

Another relaxing and pampering evening... What about you? What do you do to wind down from your hectic days?
